of Home Science has conducted a ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON PREPARATION OF NUTRI-SNACKS
WITH MILLETS. Mr. Rama Dorai Balakrishna is invited as resource person. The
session has imparted skill in preparing traditional recipes such as chekkalu,
laddus, jantikalu using ragi flour. Millets are highly nutritious and
recommended mostly in diet because of their low-glycemic index. Students felt,
the session was very useful and enthusiastic and took active interaction during
the session.
