A two-day workshop on “Fabric to Fashion – Career Perspective” was conducted for the Department of Home Science. Final-year degree students actively participated in the program, which provided hands-on experience in draping fabric on body forms. The sessions were led by expert fashion designer Ms. Sahithya from JD Institute, Visakhapatnam, who shared her professional insights and guided students through practical techniques. The workshop offered valuable exposure to career opportunities in the fashion industry and enhanced the students’ creative and technical skills.

The Home Science Student Workshop on Pidilite Fevicryl, conducted from November 26 to 28, 2024, offered third-year Home Science students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Mould It, Painting, and Creative Art. Throughout the workshop, participants enthusiastically engaged in crafting with Fevicryl Mould It and experimented with various painting techniques, nurturing their creativity and artistic innovation. This interactive session enabled students to refine their artistic abilities through diverse mixed-media projects. The event concluded with an exhibition displaying the students’ creations, showcasing their dedication and talent. Overall, the workshop was highly successful in promoting artistic expression and enhancing practical learning within the Home Science curriculum.
