ANNUAL
REPORT 2022-23
Just
like the sun rises every day, but today it shines brighter and in the same way,
we have our Home Science Association every year, but this year’s association
has its own uniqueness, much more color and many remarkable events. This year
the association office bearers areDakshayani – President, Seshu Kumari –
Vice-President, Deepika – Treasurer, Mohsina Parveen– Secretary, Rohini –
Joint-Secretary, Wall Journal Representative-1 – Pavani Prasunna, Wall Journal
Representative-2 - Jyothsna and class
representatives and staff advisors are Mrs. T. Gayatri, Sr. Dipali Kumari Singh
and Ms. Sai Sudha. Here’s the list of activities that were conducted by the
association.
The first activity conducted was “Breast
Feeding Awareness Week” in the month of August. As part of it poster making
competition, cross word puzzle, caption writing, recipe making competition were
conducted.
The second activity conducted was Handloom
Day celebration. A ramp walk competition titled Handloom/Handloom King was organized for faculty and students of SJC
on the theme- OUR HANDLOOMS, OUR PRIDE. Mrs. Sonica Kankatala, Director,
Digital Marketing, Kankatala was invited as judge for ramp walk competition
organized for faculty. Also, a display
of Indian handlooms depicting the concept of elements of design was arranged. The next one is “ONAM celebration”, in which
all third year arranged Pukolam near entrance lounge and was inaugurated by
Principal, Vice-Principal and faculty Home Science by lighting the lamp. Activity
-4 was “RAKHI MAKING COMPETITION” & it was open for the students of Home
Science. Activity-5 was NUTRITION WEEK CELBRATION. As part of it cross word
puzzle, free medical camp and nutrilicious food sale was organized.
The SIXTH Activity is POSTER MAKING
COMPETITION was conducted to observe OZONE DAY. ACTIVITY-7 was FINISH IT OFF, a fun filled game in the month of September . ACTIVITY -8 was DOODLE ART ACTIVITY.
ACTIVITY -9 was TAPPING THE TALENT,
where the students were encouraged to exhibit their individual hidden talents
in various extra circular activities.
ACTIVITY -10 was poster making
presentation on the occasion of National Voter’s Day.
Hence all throughout the year, there
were different competitions & activities were conducted, students learnt
new things as well as had a great pleasure.
