"As part of National Nutrition Week and an extension activity, our second-year Home Science students conducted a community outreach program for the Kancharpalam community. The program focused on two crucial topics:

1. Anemia: Causes, symptoms, prevention, and management

2. Gut Health: Importance, factors affecting gut health, and tips for maintaining a healthy gut

Through interactive sessions, poster presentations, and demonstrations, our students educated the community members on these vital health issues. The program aimed to raise awareness, promote healthy habits, and empower the community to take charge of their health.

As part of National Nutrition Week, our final-year Home Science students organized a nutrition sale event. They prepared a variety of nutritious food items in the laboratory and sold them to students and faculty members.
