REPORT OF GUEST LECTURE ON BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS

 

On 17^th October 2023, a guest lecture was conducted for the students of II B.sc Home science on the topic Behavioral problems.  The guest speaker was Ms. Gladys Evangeline ma’am who is currently working as a school counselor at Kendriya vidyalaya Vizianagaram. During the session, the factors that may result in the behavioural problems such as parental factors, family factors, socio-economic factors are discussed. The major behavioural problems during the childhood years are thumbsucking,enuresis temoer tantrums,disruptive behavior juvenile delinquency and their causative factors such as the lack of communication, single parenting,parental rejection of the child,and many such reasons, early identification and treatment methods are also discussed.

After the session, a doubt solving time was given, where ma’am has clarified our doubts.
